New Construction

Groffdale Barns specializes in horse barns, garages, and agricultural structures. Here's how we bring your vision to life:

  1. Site Visit & Planning
We visit your property to evaluate the site, ensuring compliance with local codes. Together, we map out a location for your structure and address your priorities.

  2. Design & Customization
We start with a sketch of the floor plan layout before moving to code-compliant drawings and permitting. Many customers select a design from our gallery and make personalized modifications. Customization options include framing, roof type, doors, windows, and hardware.

  3. Construction & Installation
For modular projects, we build your structure in our shop, delivering it to your property for final assembly. The structure is set on buried concrete columns, squared, and completed with lean-tos, doors, and windows to meet your specifications.

Restorations

For restoration projects, our process is tailored to preserve the character of your building while enhancing functionality:

  1. Assessment
During a site visit, we evaluate the structure to determine what needs replacement or rebuilding, keeping your goals in mind.

  2. Expert Craftsmanship
With a legacy of craftsmanship and experience in historical restorations, we deliver solutions that respect traditional techniques while prioritizing usability.

  3. Sensible Solutions
We focus on practical, durable upgrades that ensure your agricultural building remains functional and reliable for years to come.
